THE BASICS

WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?

Your team will work together to solve a series of puzzles to complete an objective. You are not always 'escaping' a room, are never physically constrained or locked into any space. The experience often spans multiple rooms, not just one.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled booking. That will give you plenty of time to park, find us, and potentially even check out some of our neighbors in the awesome Factory Square building.

I'M LATE! WHAT DO I DO?

If you are, or anticipate, being late, firstly, give us a call (860-426-0150and let us know. We can wait on your group for up to 15 minutes, but will have to re-schedule OR continue with a limited game clock if your group is any later. We know it happens, we promise to be patient and work towards a solution best for your group, as well as our team, if it does! 

WHERE ARE YOU?

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? *YOUNGER PLAYERS PARTIES WITH ESCAPISM*

Although our experiences certainly are NOT easy and not specifically designed for kids, we do love to host families and parties! We will allow all ages to experience our adventures, but we've found that typically, those 10 and under may not be able to contribute heavily. We ask that anyone 13 or younger is accompanied by an adult at least prior to the experience.

The Tomb and The Score are great options for younger players & birthday parties! Our staff will go above and beyond to accommodate younger players in our experiences. This may require our game masters to monitor and assist in a more direct (but still interactive!) way.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

We are typically open Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9 PM, Fridays 3-11 PM,  Saturdays, 11-11 PM, Sundays, 11-8 PM. Our booking page will let you know exactly when we are accepting bookings. We can typically arrange for groups to play outside of these hours, inquire here!

BOOKING

HOW DO I BOOK?

Just head over to our live booking calendar! BOOK NOW will take you through to our booking platform. We think groups of 4-6 players make the best teams for most of our games. If you're unsure of how many players you'll have in your crew, we can always add on (up to the rooms specific maximum number of players) when you arrive. 

I DONT WANT TO PLAY WITH STRANGERS.

We wouldn't want to either! Your experience will ALWAYS be private. Only your group will be in your experience with you. 

CAN I PLAY WITH 2 PEOPLE?

For small groups, our rooms require that you book for the minimum number of participants in order to complete the booking process - for most of our rooms, that is 4 participants, with the exception of Do Not Disturb, which is 3 participants. You are more than welcome to play with only 2 players so long as you pay for the minimum participants on any given experience. This helps us to keep our experiences 100% private, 100% of the time.

GAMEPLAY

IS IT SCARY? / ARE WE REALLY LOCKED IN? / I'M CLAUSTROPHOBIC!

Our experiences can (but are not totally designed to) cause slight distress. There are never intentional jump-scares or gory scenes or imagery. Players are never physically constrained in any way and exits are always available. You will never be confined in a very small space, alone or with others.

I'VE NEVER PLAYED AN ESCAPE ROOM BEFORE. SHOULD I STILL GO?

We LOVE to host first timers - please do! Let us know if it's your first time playing an escape room, an escape room with us, or if your're celebrating any special occasion with us. 

CAN I LOSE? HOW DO I KNOW IF WE WIN?

Yes. But we believe in you! Our experiences are designed to let you know if you have or have not completed your task within the 60 minute gameplay window. We are family owned and design 100% of our own puzzles, props and electronics - we cannot wait to show it all off! We would love for your group to experience the entire adventure through to the end, so if you are close, we will likely allow you to finish. We have no leader boards and do not track success rates of our experiences - in the best way possible, that is not what we're about here! 

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

Nope! Everything you need will be there, if and when you need it. That being said, if you typically wear eye-glasses or contacts, we suggest you bring them. We certainly don't encourage use of phone flashlights in our experiences, but we won't ever yell at you if you decide it might help you see better at any point. 

WE"RE CONSIDERING A FEW DRINKS PRIOR TO OUR EXPERIENCE! IS THAT ALRIGHT?

We'd prefer you saved any celebratory beverages for afterwards. There are multiple venues to head to post gameplay that would be perfect for you to do so - you don't event have to leave the Factory Square building! We highly discourage drinking alcohol or being under the influence prior to or during gameplay. Our top priority is your safety and the quality of the experience for our whole team. Players visibly under the influence may be refused entry with no refund.

PRICING

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

$35 flat, per player, after tax. 

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

WHAT IS YOUR FORMAL POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS?

All sales are final, we offer no refunds under any circumstances. 

CAN I RESCHEDULE?

We are a by booking service - we greatly appreciate your understanding abiding by our formal policies. We cannot make exceptions to the below for any reason. Please call or email us as soon as you anticipate needing to reschedule.

If your booking is over 24 hours away: We can reschedule you to another date & time of your choosing or send you a voucher for the full value of your booking to use at any future date & time.

If your booking is less than 24 hours away: We can conditionally reschedule your booking meaning...

 

If your original gameplay slot is booked by another crew, we can reschedule you to another date & time of your choosing or send you a voucher for the full value of your booking to use at any future date & time. 

 

If your original gameplay slot is not booked by another crew, your specific rooms minimum is non-refundable and cannot be credited. Any value above the specific rooms minimum can be credited via a voucher to apply to any future booking.

If your booking is less than 3 hours away: We cannot reschedule or provide vouchers to return under any circumstance.

Again, we greatly appreciate your understanding in complying with the above policies. If you're unable to attend your original booking last minute, we suggest attempting to pay-it-forward to family or friends! We are always honored to host - the show must go on!
